Why we started this

Most home and lifestyle advice online is written for houses with spare rooms and three-car garages. That's not most of us. Ruku Living exists for the growing number of people living well in studios, one-bedrooms, and shared flats — where every square foot has to earn its place.

We started by writing down the small fixes we kept using ourselves: which folding desk actually holds up, which smart plug is worth the money, how to fit a real kitchen routine into four feet of counter space. That list turned into this site.

What we do differently

We don't publish a recommendation unless it's been tried in a real small apartment — not just read about in a spec sheet. If something doesn't hold up, we say so, even when it means an "honest review" isn't a flattering one.
